Vote Absentee on School Issues until March 2 2/3/12

It's important to remember that there are several school issues on the ballot in the Primary on March 6th. The Democratic party urges you to vote early using absentee voting. Absentee voting in person at the Board of Elections, 204 N. Main St in Lima is available 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday. Remember Kasich and the Republicans have cut funds to the schools and local governments. As a resident of Lima I'm well aware of how hard the teachers and the administration have worked to stretch available funds. They need your support for the levy. I'm sure the same can be said of Allen East, Bath, and Delphos. They need your support even if we don't have contested races between Democrats--and we do have some of those. The Democratic County Central Committee is composed of Democrats who live in each precinct and are elected in this primary. Several precincts have a contest. In Perry C we have Kevin Cox and Darlene Lamar running. In Ft. Shawnee C Michelle Lutrell and Craig Bradford face one another. In Shawnee C it's between Kenneth Terry and Mildred Stewart. (What is it about the "C" precincts that they get contested races?) But here's one that isn't a "C", Lima 6A has Dolly Taylor being challenged by some young whippersnapper, oh yeah that's me, James Bode. Please, vote early (but not often as they used to be instructed in Chicago.)
